The first Trans/Action of 2026 will be held on Thursday January 8th from 7pm-8:30pm. Sign up via our Linktree in our bio! Featuring Devon Ojeda (they/he) and Caius Willingham (he/him), colleagues at A4TE who are a T4T couple in their personal lives. They’ll share how they met and fell in love while organizing, the power of T4T relationships at a time when our community is being targeted, their experiences as an interracial T4T couple, and navigating the stressors of being professionally trans while trying to grow their family. What it’s like pausing HRT to dive into their fertility journey. And the power of trans joy in their lives as we’re all navigating a fascist regime!
Caius Willingham (he/him) is a Senior Policy Analyst at Advocates for Transgender Equality (A4TE), where he focuses on education and employment policy. Previously, he worked for Congresswoman Jayapal, covering issues including LGBTQI+ rights and labor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Duke University and has eight years of professional experience overall.
Devon Ojeda (they/he) is the Senior National Organizer at Advocates for Transgender Equality (A4TE), working with coalition partners and government officials to advance structural changes that improve the well-being of the transgender community, including access to health coverage and temporary housing. Prior to A4TE, Devon was a 2018–2019 James Marshall Public Policy Fellow (SPSSI) and worked on the Senate HELP Subcommittee in the Office of Senator Bernard Sanders. Devon holds a Ph.D. and master’s degree in Community Psychology from Wichita State University and a graduate certificate in LGBT Health Practice and Policy from The George Washington University.
*From Jan-April 2026, Trans/Action will be focused on getting to know local trans leaders because TMD will be hosting weekly Policy Meetings on Wednesdays at 6pm, and don’t want to duplicate our content. Stay tuned for the Policy Meeting sign up link!
