WHO WE ARE
Under the MoCo Pride Center, Inc. umbrella, we are the consortium of LGBTQIA+ Service, Advocacy, and Arts & Culture Organizations that serve Montgomery County, Maryland and the surrounding region.
The Montgomery County Pride Family comprises Live In Your Truth, Trans Maryland, Drag Story Hour DMV, MoCo Pride Prom, The Coalition For Inclusive Schools & Communities, and Maryland Trans Unity. Dear Community Members,
The challenges we face are daunting, but they are not insurmountable. Each of us has the power to be a force for good, whether by showing up for one another, contributing to the fight, or simply existing authentically in a world that tries to deny us.
To my Trans and gender-expansive family: You are seen. You are loved. Your identity is valid and sacred. To my LGBTQIA+ siblings: Together, we will rise above the hate. To our allies: Your support is more critical than ever. We cannot do this alone.
Let us stand together in love, solidarity, and action—because when we unite as one, there is no limit to what we can achieve.
